The main venue of ICV-7 will be the Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The spacious and luxurious venue, with modern facilities in an ancient Thai city, is the ideal place for the conference. In addition, vetiver utilization for soil and water conservation has been extensively done in Chiang Mai. Some of the areas would be selected for the participants to observe during the post-conference technical tours.
